Ms. Ung Khemara Bormeychan is a sophomore at the CamEd Business School pursuing accounting & finance, and a junior majoring in international relations at the Institute of International Studies and Public Policy. She is a co-president of CamEd Public Speaking and Debate Club, a research intern at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, a junior article writer at The SEED Cambodia, and a program officer at The Young SEAkers Cambodia, in addition to her academic pursuits. Her research interests include ASEAN and Cambodia economics; therefore, she recently published a commentary on Cambodia’s economic vision, economic globalization (a case study of Singapore), and global affairs. She was also a Cambodian representative at the ASEAN Youth Debate 2022, an individual awardee at the ASEAN PLUS Youth Volunteer Award 2022 in Vietnam, a Cambodian delegate at the Young ASEAN Leader Policy Initiative at Chulalongkorn University, a Cambodia delegate at the ASEAN + Youth Summit in Indonesia, and an exchange student at National University of Singapore. She is also a debate and public speaking enthusiast, having participated as a candidate, judge, and trainer in various tournaments and events as well.

Solyda is a specialist in education and development who specializes in designing and implementing programs for inclusive education and youth development. She also specializes in evidence-based policy-making through research, evaluation, and knowledge generation, as well as policy advocacy and influence. In her current position at UNICEF, she manages a youth development program to encourage the civic participation of Cambodian youth in the process of local planning and budgeting at the commune and sangkat levels. In this capacity, she has provided technical assistance to non-governmental organizations as partners in the design and implementation of projects, as well as to the government in addressing policy gaps and documenting best practices in the area of youth civic engagement. Solyda holds a Master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Syracuse University, United States of America. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Cambodia.

Tifanny Bophadavy Doche is a remarkable figure in the Cambodian fashion industry, serving as the Global Ambassador and Lead Designer for Re-Made in Cambodia. As the creator of Revivre Studio, she has established herself as a trailblazer, driven by a passion for sustainable fashion, cross-cultural design, and timeless elegance.
Hailing from a Khmer-Chinese background and born in France, Tifanny’s journey took shape after her studies at ESMOD Fashion Design and Business School, followed by a valuable internship at Viktor&Rolf and a career as a stylist in Paris. However, in 2020, she embarked on an inspiring new chapter, driven by her vision for Khmer design.
In March 2022, Tifanny’s aspirations materialized with the founding of Revivre Studio—a made-to-order and ready-to-wear brand that places emphasis on the principles of slow fashion while drawing inspiration from her cultural heritage. She has since showcased in several shows, from her own to Phnom Penh Designers Week.
Deeply committed to addressing environmental injustice within the fashion industry, Tifanny and her team of local talents joined forces with Re-Made in Cambodia for the 2023 Earth Day Fashion project. Together, they transformed clothing collected from the river into stunning ready-to-wear fashion looks. Through her involvement with Re-Made in Cambodia, Tifanny aims to showcase the country’s creativity and amplify its voice on the global stage, channeling her designs to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Graduating from the Department of Media and Communication and a former producer/director at BBC Media Action, Lomorpich (aka. YoKi) is a Cambodian-born Film Director, Entrepreneur, and Cultural Innovator. YoKi is now the co-founder and CEO of PlerngKob (“The Sacred Fire” in English), a creative house of a dynamic young group passionate about the arts and film. She is a co-founder and the festival producer of BonnPhum (Village Festival), a folklore festival showcasing Cambodian culture. In 2019, she released her first debut film, Young Love, as the director/writer. YoKi won the Best Screenplay Award for Young Love at the 6th National Film Festival and the Jury Special Award. Also, her second feature film script, “Super Mom, Super Son”, has been selected for Locarno Open Door Lab 2020. She was also the curator of Festival Tokyo in 2018. Yoki believes in the power of gathering and storytelling.

A native of Battambang, Reaksmey Yean is an independent art curator, writer, and researcher. While leading Silapak Trotchaek Pneik (STP Cambodia), a contemporary art space and library, as its program director, he is also an adjunct lecturer of art histories at CamTech University, NUM International College, and Phnom Penh University of the Arts.
Yean is a SOAS, the University of London’s Alphawood scholar (2014) for Postgraduate Diploma in Asian Art (Indian, Chinese, and Southeast Asian Art) and an inaugural LASALLE College of the Arts SEAsia Award Scholar (2017), an Asian Cultural Council fellow (2018), and a beneficiary of Dr. Karen Mcleod Adair grant for MA in Asian Art Histories at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. He is pursuing a dual degree in LL.M. Public International law at the Royal University of Law and Economics and Paris 8 University Vincennes-Saint-Denis under the bursarship of Rule/Paris 8, Adenauer Young Scholars for Excellence, and SokSiphana & Associates. As a scholar, Yean is concerned with Buddhist arts, contemporary and modern arts, Southeast Asia, decolonial theory, cultural diplomacy, art law, and international cultural heritage law.

Dr. Sothearath J. Seang is an avid public speaker and advocacy officer in the field of Open Science and Digital Transformation. For two years, he served as one of the Open Science Ambassadors for the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers and helped advance the agenda regarding awareness raising and sensitization among the research communities in Europe.
Possessing extensive experience and solid knowledge in academic research and digital technologies, he published two articles on blockchain in international peer-reviewed journals. He aspires to contribute to Cambodia’s development, especially in the fields of education and sustainability, through the benefits of digitalization. Fluent in French, English, and Khmer, his linguistic versatility has proven instrumental in collaborating with international organizations and building cross-cultural partnerships.
Having a background in the economics of sustainable development, Sothearath now works in energy and sustainability projects at Sevea Consulting ensures the development of strategic partnerships, and provides advice and expertise to managers, senior officers, and other public information staff on a range of advocacy and outreach issues and methods. He is currently in charge of the implementation of the second edition of the Cambodia Energy Efficiency Competition (CEE Comp) project.

Mr. NOUN Uksa is a Seasoned Analyst with experience in sectors ranging from market, trade, socio-economic, policy, and data to finance.
He is now a Strategic Investment Analyst at a Capital Management firm. Previously, he contributed to UNDP Cambodia as a Socio-Economic Consultant. Prior to UNDP, he has been working at EuroCham Cambodia since 2019. He supports and leads Business Services team initiatives for organizations seeking to learn more about the Cambodian market.
Before joining EuroCham Cambodia, Uksa was an Administrative Officer at the National University of Management. He graduated with a degree in business administration and specialized in finance and strategic evaluation for SMEs. He is interested in foreign affairs and has participated in past student conferences as a university delegate for the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) and the Japan International Cooperation Centre (JICE).
He shaped his niche when he studied a comprehensive economics course in Spain, the 2-semester exchange program majoring in International Finance. It tied well with his profession at EuroCham, and UNDP Cambodia. He recognized the need to develop his skillset in public policy further, so he pursued an MA at the National University of Management. Now that he has found himself interested in Data Science for sustainability, through his instinct, as a math lover, a Microsoft Excel nerd, and a Power BI user, he is on his way to pursue another MSc in the related field of Data Science.
Despite his professional career, he is also a runner enthusiast for a better community. The oldest brother of three in his family, he has been a class representative for three years in a row and has mentored more than 200 high-school boys in the Boy’s Brigade organization during his university years.
